Black Run Preserve’s John Volpa teaching
If you’d like to learn about the interconnected ecological and cultural history of the Black Run Preserve, then come to the Pinelands Preservation Alliance barn for an evening presentation by FBRP Founder and Chair, John Volpa. “The Black Run Preserve’s Serendipity, an overlay of Pinelands and Pine Barrens”. We’ll trace our region’s cultural history from the Lenni Lenape, Evesham’s English Quakers, the “Piney’s” to the Greatest Generation’s former New Jersey Governor, Brendan Byrne. Their collective impact upon Black Run Preserve’s Pine Barrens ecology will be interwoven into its human history.
This program will run from 7:00-8:15pm, then refreshments and discussion of the topic, The Future of the BRP, until 8:45pm.
