2024 Poker Run in Black Run Preserve

4/13/2024 from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM ET

GET A HAND/GIVE A HAND
THIRD ANNUAL POKER RUN

Have fun, enjoy nature, win prizes, and most importantly, help FBRP accomplish its mission with your participation in this special event for runners, walkers and cyclists.

HOW IT WORKS:

A Poker Run is NOT a race. Participants run, walk or bike a specific route to and through the BRP. Participants stop at five checkpoints along the route to claim a playing card; assembling a five-card poker hand which will determine the order in which the donated prizes are chosen.

WHEN:
Saturday, April 13, 2024, 8:00 am - noon (Raindate: April 27th)

WHO:

Runners/Walkers or Mountain Bikers.  Minors must be accompanied by an adult. All bikers must wear a helmet. All entrants must sign a waiver. Please bring your own water bottle.

WHERE:

Starting point for all participants is at Rice Elementary School (50 Five Crown Royal) in King’s Grant. Bikers and pedestrians will have separate courses:

This year's bike course is new and will be approximately 8 miles. Bikers will go left out of Rice Elementary parking lot through the Links Golf Club (at 10th tee trailhead) then into the BRP and go south to the REI trails and back through the Links Golf Club.

The pedestrian course is approximately 4 miles. Runners will go right out of Rice Elementary parking lot and enter the BRP via the King’s Grant dog park/MUA access road then return on the same route.

All participants will receive a map/cue sheet.

SUPPORT:

Evesham Township Police and EMT will be on hand for traffic safety, etc.

ENTRY FEES:

Online registration: FBRP members $20; non-members: $25 (Members, make sure you're logged in before purchasing tickets.)
In-person, day of registration: FBRP members $20; non-members $30.
