Weekday Wanderings: An Introduction to Forest Bathing
 
Ever heard of Shinrin Yoku? It’s the Japanese term also known as Forest Bathing which simply means “taking in the forest atmosphere”. C'mon out on a quiet weekday and join our Trail Ambassadors for a mindful walk in the woods. During this time on our trails, you’ll enjoy brief guided activities to awaken your senses and become attuned to the rejuvenating benefits of nature.  Ahhhhhhh…..     
 
DATE: Monday, October 21, 2019 TIME: 11:00am to 1:00pm

WHERE TO MEET: Kettle Run Road East Trailhead Entrance – This is the main trailhead for Black Run Preserve.  Meet at the welcome table at 10:30 am to check in and sign your waiver.

WHAT TO WEAR: Be sure to dress for the weather and protect yourself from the sun and biting insects. Some trails may be wet.  Hiking, sturdy shoes, or waterproof boots are recommended.
 
DETAILS: This is a social/informational hike for fun and to gather with other outdoor enthusiasts and Friends of the Black Run Preserve.
