Restoration Project: Native Grass Planting

4/24/2021 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM ET

Come celebrate Earth Day and help us protect our precious local ecosystem.

In partnership with Evesham Township’s Environmental Commission, utilizing a grant from the Association of Environmental Commissions (ANJEC), FBRP will enter phase two of our restoration project to eliminate the nonnative phragmites in the decommissioned MUA basins by planting 550 native grass plugs.

Help us plant these grasses and cut back the remaining phragmites. Tools and instruction will be provided. Volunteers will be asked to wear a mask when working in close proximity with others. Social distancing will be practiced.

Please download, print, and fill out the release form under the documents heading to the right and bring it with you on the day of the event. If you are coming as part of a group, you may all sign the same form.

Meet at the Bortons Road Trailhead at 1pm.
