Many of our visitors know that on May 1^st, a fire impacted 65 acres in the Aerohaven Section of the BRP.  Luckily no one was hurt and no property lost. The cause of the fire is still under investigation, but for a Pine Barrens area that hasn’t burned since 1957, this is an educational and ecological opportunity to observe.  View these photos of the fire as it blazed and from our first Aerohaven Tour, on May 22, after it was officially re-opened.  After each Aerohaven Tour going forward, FBRP will be posting photographic documentation demonstrating the resurgence of life.

WHAT TO WEAR: Be sure to dress for the weather. Some trails may be wet.  Hiking, sturdy shoes, or waterproof boots are recommended.
