Black Run Preserve presents “Hikes for Tykes”

Please join our Black Run Trail Ambassadors for an educational and informative nature hike geared for children ages 5 through 10 years old (siblings welcome).

This week’s adventure…

Water and Sand: Hikers will learn about why the Pinelands soil is so different than your average garden soil as well as why the water looks so dark. Come on out and find out the answers to these questions and more.

The adventure begins at our Kettle Run Road East Trailhead at 10:00am (weather permitting) and runs about one hour.

All hikers must be accompanied by an adult and pre-register for this event as space is limited.
