October is Pinelands Month and the perfect time for the opening of the 2021 Black Run Preserve Juried Photography and Art Exhibition. More than 120 remarkable entries were received and presented to jurors, Richard Lewis and John Giannotti for the unenviable task of selecting the finalists to fill the limited gallery space. These works, inspired by the beauty of Evesham Township’s open space oasis of native Pine Barrens flora and fauna, are now on display at the Center for the Arts in Southern New Jersey, 123 S. Elmwood Road, Marlton.

The public is invited to help celebrate the beauty of the Black Run Preserve, and the artists who have successfully captured it, at our Opening Reception and Awards Presentation, Friday, May 15, 7-9pm. In consideration of the health and safety of our guests, light refreshments will be offered in individual servings. Face coverings are required while indoors.

The exhibition will be open from October 4-28. Call the CFASNJ at 856-985-1009 for gallery hours. All work in the exhibition is available for purchase with a sizeable portion of the proceeds benefitting Friends of the Black Run and its mission of preservation, education, recreation, and advocacy.
