The 2018 Black Run Preserve Photography and Artwork Contest was a huge success, with dozens of outstanding works selected for exhibition and sale to benefit the preserve and bring awareness to both the natural beauty within it and the talent of those who share their artistic vision for all to enjoy. We are delighted to announce that this highly regarded event is coming back. Soon(ish).

“Wait. Did you just say, 2020?” Yes, that’s correct.
“Um, what happened to 2019?” Well, that’s the whole point. 2019 hasn’t happened yet and the Black Run Preserve has so much in store for us this year. Every season is uniquely spectacular here in this ecological wonder of ours. Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall… there’s so much to see and so much inspiration to be had. So we’re giving the photographic and fine art community ample lead time to explore, enjoy, and create.
Take a look at last year’s winners and selected works. Then go out to the Black Run Preserve. Take a hike, take your camera, take your easel, and take your time. Enjoy a year of everything that this gem has to offer. Then show us what it inspired you to create. We’ll keep you updated with contest details as we get closer to the event.
